Ooh this is very timely. I love a bit of chemistry and studied some neuropsychopharmacology during my course at uni.

Regardless, I had weird kidney results recently and the specialist told me to stay off NSAIDs for the reasons you've highlighted.

I have chronic pain too but don't take meds now unless it's really bad. had been on all sorts initially which was tough.

I'm very mindful now of finding other ways to pain manage where I can.

Thanks so much for sharing! People with long standing pain can find themselves using LOTS of nsaids for long durations especially if they aren't seeing a doctor. Glad you found out that you needed to adjust your plan and are well taken care of now. Thank you for reading!

Yeah it's been a long road but exercise and looking after my body is medicine. I really notice when I'm not doing it properly

It sounds hokey until you experience it for yourself, but it is so true! So much healing can happen with food, exercise, stress management and sleep Even when treatments and medications are still necessary, it's always better with good self-care!

It’s a lifestyle shift when a fundamental aspect of your mind and body needs more care and attention.
